Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BITS Field Coach platform operated by Blockchain Integrative Technology Solutions ("BITS," "we," "us"). By accessing or using Field Coach, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

BITS Field Coach is an AI-powered job site intelligence platform that provides code compliance lookups, troubleshooting assistance, safety protocol references, and knowledge management tools for skilled trades and industrial operations.

2. Account & Access

Access is granted per company subscription. Each company receives administrator credentials and may create worker accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all login credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Field Coach only for lawful business purposes related to your trade operations. You may not:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or copy the AI models or knowledge base
Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
Use the service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
Attempt to circumvent security controls or authentication

4. AI Limitations

Field Coach provides informational assistance only. AI-generated responses are reference material and do not constitute professional engineering, legal, or safety advice. All work must be performed by qualified, licensed professionals who exercise independent judgment. BITS is not liable for decisions made based on Field Coach output.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all proprietary content you upload (SOPs, procedures, manuals). By uploading, you grant BITS a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of operating your Field Coach instance. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Intellectual Property

The Field Coach platform, its AI models, knowledge bases, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of BITS. The BITS TRACE verification system is protected by pending U.S. provisional patents.

7. Subscription & Payment

Subscription terms and pricing are established in your service agreement. Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled with 30 days written notice.

8. Data Handling

Data collection and handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BITS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF FIELD COACH. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days written notice. BITS may immediately suspend access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled per the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Richmond, Virginia.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered accounts. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
